Lowell House is now known as Riverbend. Learn more.
Riverbend employs Recovery Support Navigators based out of the Lowell, Lawrence, and Haverhill Court Houses. The goal of Project North, a contract awarded by the Trial Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, is to reduce the impact of opioids, stimulants, and other substances on individuals and communities in Massachusetts. These funds will support engagement, system navigation support, and short-term care management services for court-involved persons dealing with substance use disorders. We connect with individuals who are court-involved and assist with substance use related needs, such as scholarship to sober living, transportation to detox, or referrals to client-identified resources.
For individuals who are unable to visit our clinic or utilize virtual services and are seeking support with care coordination in their home or community, OCM offers all the same support as we do in our clinic.
In partnership with the Department of Family and Children Services, Riverbend delivers a variety of Support & Stabilization services. This program will utilize intentional strategies for engaging with caregivers involved with DCF in any capacity that has involved substance use, to support permanency with their children and families.
