Riverbend is pleased to announce the hiring of Shane Sullivan as Director of Food Services. In this position, Shane will be in charge of centralized ordering and catering for all of Riverbend’s client-facing locations. Sullivan will also be in charge of the launching of Riverbend’s Social Enterprise where they will employ individuals in early recovery and provide career training.
Sullivan brings a wealth of experience with over 30 years of culinary work beginning in the Navy where discipline and precision were paramount, to most recently, the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter. Through that work he developed systems to efficiently distribute thousands of pounds of food weekly to those in need.
“This is a position we have needed for a long time, and we are lucky to have Shane on board” said Michael Reinke, Riverbend CEO. “As we continue to grow and help more individuals across Merrimack Valley, it is important that we support these facilities and provide standardization across our programs.”
Sullivan holds a BBA in Hospitality Management from Saint Leo University and various certifications for sanitation, nutrition, and more. In his free time, Sullivan can be found in the music studio or watching his hometown Celtics.
