VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Recovery doesn't happen in isolation, it takes a community willing to show up. When you volunteer with Riverbend, you become part of someone's path forward. No experience required, just a willingness to help.

Find the Right Fit for you
01 Corporate or Community Groups

We work with businesses of all sizes to design experiences that are impactful for your employees and transformative for our clients.

From hands-on service projects to skills-based workshops to employee giving campaigns, we’ll find the right fit

Running a drive is simpler than it sounds. Choose a collection window, two to three weeks works well, and pick a central drop-off spot like a break room, lobby, or classroom. Let your network know what you’re collecting (we’ll send you a current needs list), set out a labeled box, and drop everything off at Riverbend when the drive closes.

The format is up to you, a backyard cookout, a trivia night, a bake sale, trivia night, what matters is that your community shows up. Set a fundraising goal, collect donations on the day (we can set up a dedicated donation link for your event), and send the proceeds to Riverbend when it wraps. We’re happy to provide materials, send a staff member to speak, or help you promote it to our network.

Lead a session on resume writing, financial literacy, cooking, art, or anything you know well. Our clients are building lives, help them gain the skills to do it.

When someone arrives at one of our programs, a welcome kit is often the first tangible sign that people are rooting for them. Kits typically include toiletries, a clean towel, socks, a notebook, and a few small comfort items. You can assemble kits on your own, with your family, or make it a group activity with a team or organization. Drop them off at any Riverbend location or coordinate a pickup.

Offer your expertise as a lawyer, accountant, marketer, landscaper, general contractor, or IT professional. Pro bono professional support keeps our resources focused on direct care.
